This is Kevin, one half of the reasonably awesome team here to bring you Ominous Knife, the 8th best webcomic you’ve ever read.

If you’ve managed to stumble on this site before our launch, good for you! I just hope it wasn’t because you where randomly googling “Ominous Knife”, because if you were I don’t think you’re the audience we’re looking for.

So since you went through all the trouble to sneak in here before our grand opening, I’ll give you the to-do list of what we’d like to accomplish before we launch.

• Script 15 comics (done)
• Work on our comic “bible” (a collection of bios, descriptions and backstories to help us in the long run) (in production)
• Install and set-up ComicsPress (Installed, customized. Now it just needs some tweaking. Beyond that we are just looking for cool widgets and add-ons as a bonus.)
• Finalize Character Designs (3 of 4 main characters done if you count Debug Zombie, which we don’t.)
• Finish 5 strips (this months job, 2/5 complete if you count Debug Zombie which we might.)
• Launch

We can now confidently say that our launch date is April 29th

Our goal at the begining is to update on Tuesdays with a once a month bonus comic called “Frequently Asked Questions” (our apologies if a comic by that name already exists, have you ever tried googling “Frequently Asked Questions”? It’s not recommended.)

So stick with us and I’ll put updates in this space until either we launch, or I somehow break the thing.
