Mythbusters: Plausible
In this world there are two camps. In the one camp are those who enjoyed MacGyver and continue to enjoy it’s spiritual successor, Mythbusters. In the other camp are those who find the show Jeopardy to be too racy.
“Alex Trebek shaved his mustache,” they say, voices heavy with concern. “Now it’s far too raunchy for 7 o’clock p.m.” Then they go back to finishing their dinners of creamed corn and mashed potatoes.
The point is that there is not one — not one — situation in this world that cannot be significantly enhanced by the presence of fire. So far Mythbusters is the only show that provides not only the ideal conditions for explosions, but actually manages to give them both a backstory and an identity. In the Mythbuster world, explosions are the main characters. And so, this comic is dedicated to pseudo-science and its pursuit of the half-truths that cause our friends to attempt (and succeed at!) self-immolation. And since this is a humor comic, I think it goes without saying that a picture of a half-naked dude coated in gold paint while on fire — well, that’s just awesome.

I’m glad that I could somehow be involved in the first bit of violence in Ominous Knife.

I missed that whole “gold paint” thing. It just looks like a guy on fire to me.
But what do I know about art?
