Rest in Peace Michael Turner
July 1st, 2008Another good artist just passed away. Michael Turner died on Friday
His cover work was awesome. He did a whole lot of the Civil War stuff, including most of the widely seen stuff for that, like the one with Captain America in the middle and everyone else around him (Wolverine on one shoulder, Iron Man on the other), and the one epic battle looking one with Captain America about to punch Iron Man in the face.
Both covers I have on shirts, so I guess you could say that he was the type of artist that drew stuff so good, I wanted to wear it.
Rest in peace, thanks for the art you left behind.
