Now I’m not much of a DC guy, or a Mortal Kombat guy, but when you mix them together, there might just be enough dork mojo to suck me right in.

I’ve always been a Marvel guy in that war, and a Capcom guy in the other, and when they combined back in the day in was a banner day in my household. But MORTAL KOMBAT VS. DC UNIVERSEseems like a late entry doesn’t it? It’s likes someone at Midway or DC was looking at a stack of old Gamepros and said “Hey did nobody see that Marvel and Capcom teamed up like twelve years ago? And then proceeded to make the best fighting game known to man? How did we not retaliate?”

How could it take them so long to join forces with Capcom’s rival here? I mean Image and Namco joined up in the bizzare sub-genre of comic-book-guys-fighting-video-game-guys before they did.

 I guess what it will come down to is gameplay. I honestly am not a fan of the Mortal Kombat system, I’m much more in favor of Capcom’s systems and Namco’s Soul Series.  But any sort of mash-up crossover that seems to have come out of conversations I had in grade school always get a second look from me, so I’ll at least rent it….or borrow it…or I don’t know at least read about it.
