Guest Strip By Evan Hodgins from Of Noobs and Men
This is just pure, solid, refined gold. There’s so much that’s funny about this strip that I can’t think of a comment. There is nothing left to say about it.
Oh, wait! I’ve got one more thing to say about it. After talking with Kevin about the strip, I realized that if this were a TV show I would totally watch it. I’d watch it, TiVo it, then buy the boxset when it came out. I’d go to conventions featuring cast members from Space Werewolf, which is the working title for the show in my head. Just imagine the plot!
An astronaut who plays by his own rules is bitten by a werewolf one fateful night. Unfortunately, the fateful night is the night before his mission to the moon. As he tries to come to grips with his newfound curse, he finds that it is also a gift, since the moon is always full when you’re standing on it. He uses his new powers to lead criminals to the moon and subsequently mauls them with his feral claws. Of course, that comes later in the series, since training criminals to be astronauts is an arc that would require a little explanation. But man, judging by the strip that first episode would be FANTASTIC!
Thanks again to Evan from Of Noobs and Men for drawing us such an awesome comic!
-Chris
I want to also personally add how thankful I am to our friend Evan for this strip, it allowed me to spend more time with my daughter today and for that I am really grateful. Thanks again
-Kevin

My first comment on the site, so I thought I’d start with a big congratulations to Kevin on your daughter’s birth; seriously, that’s a big event.
Second, I do like the idea for Space Werewolf, but it could end rather abruptly if the cast dies in the pilot. It might be cooler as a suspense-thriller movie, of course starring Bruce Willis and maybe Kiefer Sutherland to keep everyone on their toes.

Do you need rocket science or calculus to aim silver bullets on the moon?
