A Very Ominous Year
Well, this strip marks the one-year anniversary of Ominous Knife! It’s really awesome that you all came out to celebrate this momentous occasion with us. Please help yourself to the punch and cookies, but be sure to leave some for the latecomers.
This strip is fairly self-explanatory, and if you don’t get the jokes then you should go back and reacquaint yourself with the catalog. We’ve tucked away a few references to older antics in there. But that’s not all! There are a few special guests who are making their debut in this strip, as a taste of what’s to come. That’s right, we have a little something for everyone up there, and all it took was a complete disregard of age-old friendships to make it happen.
Now, let’s talk about some of the upcoming strips:
Watch out, Magnum P.I.! There’s a new mustachioed detective in Hawaii! Join Calvin as he travels to the aloha state to track down a mysterious jewel thief. Is it someone from his past? Perhaps! Probably not, though.
Move over, genie from I Dream of Genie! Victor and Mick get more than they bargain for when they find an old lamp in the Shadbrook Arms attic. What do they find? A wacky genie that grants their every wish, but in a totally wacky way! Let’s just hope that Walt doesn’t find out!
Do I hear wedding bells? No, because there’s like one girl in the whole series so far.
When Walt and Warren go on a fact-finding mission in Oregon, their plane crashes inexplicably. When they try to get repairs, they find nothing but mysteries and enigmas. Now, the only thing they’re really looking for is…the truth.
Boy, those stories sure do sound fresh and original! We can’t wait to bring them to you in our unique ominous way!
- Chris

Happy first year! Keep up the great work!
And really, butternut-squash churros? It’s both intriguing and foreboding at the same time…

Great strip guys.
Boy it seems like only yesterday Kevin and Gibbs were riding the Disney Monorail frantically checking to see if their strip had updated while they were gone.

I know that it is a lot to ask, but why oh why hasn’t my likeness graced the pages of ominous knife? I see ben, arty, steve-bob, josh, and a random indian kid, but i don’t see me. I know that i’m not terribly exciting, but I’ll settle for a cameo. I’ll be the guy selling coffee, or sitting there eating burgers, or being run down by Walt. It doesn’t matter! Being killed off by Walt would be a great honor.

Len isn’t crying because Batman is dead, he’s crying because that entire series was terrible.

Congratulations!! Keep reaching for that rainbow! It’s good to see that “Victor” has upgraded the cooking repetoire from college, when it was usually raw cookie dough.

I can’t wait until we argue about which year of ominous knife was our favorite.
“Personally, I loved the third season until they added Jeffrey and the pottery barn.”
“No way, the first season was the best, it just wasn’t the same after the main cast was murdered and replaced by talking animals and a sentient window.”
